Background of the Project

Nakasawa required the development of a project management based on the installation of a complete industrial unit for water filtration applications.

One of the design specifications of the project was to include, as main components of the industrial units, the unique Silicon Carbide Membranes (SiC) to remove the majority of oil droplets and suspended solids from the Maracaibo Lake in Venezuela.

Challenges or Objectives

Provide the complete Project Management to install and operate an Ultrafiltration System into a Steam Injection Barge that enhanced oil production.

Execution

  • Procurement system implementation.
  • Testing, inspection, and certifications (TIC) of the Ultrafiltration System to ensure quality, health, and safety to the company.
  • Risk Management Plan.
  • Monitoring and control of the project with execution schedules.

Results

  • 100% execution of procurement and installation of the project.
